Existing predictive maintenance techniques only work for small-scale systems and are difficult to scale up. Choices made in one place in the chain have an important influence on other processes in the chain. The choice of a certain type of sensors and measurements influences the type of predictions that can be made, and therefore also the quality of the predictions. That is why cross-level optimization methods are being developed within PrimaVera. I contributed in WP3 and WP4 which mainly dealth with prognostic algorithms and maintenance optimisation.
DESTinationRAIL -- Involved as PhD candidate

As the European rail Infrastructure network ages, investment becomes more challenging. As a result reliability and safety are reduced, users perception of these is negative and the policy move to increased use of rail transport is unsuccessful. The objective of this project (safer, reliable and efficient rail infrastructure) are achieved through holistic management tool based on the FACT (Find, Analyse, Classify, Treat) principle. I developed several decision-support methods for maintenance planning as a part of WP3:Classify module.
COST ACTION TU1406 -- Involved as PhD candidate

The main objective of the Action is to develop a guideline for the establishment of quality control plans in roadway bridges, by integrating the most recent knowledge on performance assessment procedures with the adoption of specific goals. This guideline will focus on bridge maintenance and life-cycle performance at two levels: (i) performance indicators, (ii) performance goals. We defined several performance goals for bridge management. I developed an interactive tool ( https://maut.shinyapps.io/application_of_maut/ ) for bridge engineers to prioritse bridges for maintennace based on several performance goals.
